According to their breed standard, they can be from 10 to 18" tall. Most of the ones I saw were on the large end of that standard.

Thanks-he is the best companion I have ever had. He looks strange & delicate but I treat him like a normal dog. He comes to the farm with me & helps with the cows. He is too smart for his own good. I would love to get him an AHT friend.

I have an AHT. Frank is almost 6 years old and is a super, duper little dude. Loves my kids and anyone else he meets. I know I have pics somewhere, I'll post back to this thread later on when I find some.
