I have a four-year-old rooster and he started making this motion with his mouth like he was trying to get something to go down his throat or had something stuck. Like as if i gave him peanut butter or something. This was awhile back and it stopped for awhile. Now he's doing it again but also it sounds like his nasal passageway is kind of plugged up and he's starting to breathe through his mouth. I looked down his throat and see what could be white sores but no foul smell is present. I treated him for worms twice a few months ago. He will not drink water directly (I think he's afraid he'll choke on it) but has a pretty good appetite. He has become a little lethargic too. I have Nystatin but am afraid I'll choke hi.. he's a sultan so he has that bump on his nose which doesnt help. Please does anyone know what could be going on with my little guy? P.s. still crows.
