Rhode Island Red X's (Crossed with Col. Rocks)
I have 15, they're 18 weeks old, and I haven't seen an egg yet, I know it's early, but has anyone had experience with this cross and knows what age theirs started laying at? I got mine from Frey's Hatchery if that helps!
Also.... My girls ate their nests LOL, no joke... They have nest boxes now, and I was putting hay in them, and I came back about 3 hours later, and they'd EATEN THEIR NESTS, which I thought was a little hilarious to say the least. I've changed over to shavings now, at least until they stop eating their nests.
