I'm a newbie here and haven't tried to incubate because I just didn't understand the whole thing. Your picts really helped me ...LOL...guess I'm a picture learner! I may try to get a bator and work on a hatch next spring....I'm watching everyone and learning all I can

After a few FAILED attempts and bad hatches, I finally got my OEG bantams to lay me eggs, which have been in the 'bator now for 4-5 days.. candled them last night and ALL 7 are fertile and doing well... *gives me hope and confidence* I have been REALLY trying to hatch out chineese goose eggs, but not having any luck.... SO I have some due to hatch on the 21st. *fingers crossed*

just got a call from another friend...a dog killed his flock this morning and he gathered up all the eggs he could find. hes bring me 6 eggs tomorrow. im ganna put them in the bator. i hate staggerd hatches. but ill find a way to make it work. i have another bator but the heating element and fan went out. im going to try to fix it.

That is so sad !!! Breaks my heart!!

I have six guineas and six Barred Rocks in the bator right now. All the guineas are candling well and the BRs have only been in for four days so I haven't checked them yet. This is my first time incubating so I am keeping my fingers crossed! Due on May 26th!
