ANYONE HAVE EGGS DUE!! CHARTS ON PAGE ONE POST ONE!! NEWCOMERS WELCOME!!!

Thanks!! Good luck on your hatch too! How many have hatched so far?

4 out of the fist 7 hatched. 1 did after pipping. other 2 never absorbed the yolk. the other 22 or so are due the 7th. hope they hatch. humidity spiked last night till this morning. i lowered it after i saw how high it was when i got home from work. they go on lockdown tomorrow.

if the eggs are in there id take the water out instrad of waiting. the eggs could absorb the water and drownd.

What if the humidity stayed at 50% from day one? And then went up to the 65% on lock down? I candled at 7 days all looks good. and when I took them off the turner earlier all felt heavy...we are on locked down since about 2 today.

I have a question..(This is my first time with a broody female)
The membrane of an egg shrink wrap around the duck after it has pipped in an incubator, but does the Momma duck stay on the eggs after they have pipped under her so they don't shrink wrap? Or how does that work? What will happen when she gets up within the "lockdown" days?

I have a broody hen and I think that her eggs are not fertile :( I couldnt really tell a change from Thursday day to today.

It looks just like there is a yolk in there, no veins, no dark spot.

What do I do now? Do I just take her eggs and she will just have to break her broodiness?

That's only two days. I'd just leave them with her. If you can't see any veining by 6 or 7 days, then I could understand pulling them.
