hmmm..i just plugged one in on mine, ummm I have LG still air one..maybe it will go back up..did you open it to put water in? I used a straw and medicine dropper for mine through the vent holes.


I use the "ChooksChicks" Cheat Sheet guidelines and opened it up to place the papertowels and water. Replace the eggs in the incubator, unplugged the fan and waited to check everything this morning. Temperature was at 96.8 and humidity was at 70% when I left for work. Going to use my lunch hour to go home (I live a ways from town) and check everything out.

I used the cheatsheet too..that was the only way I could get my humidity up. I hope the temp stabalized for you.. I know about living a long ways from town. Everyone always talks about how long it takes to get to my house...LOL

But, now I have another broody for the Easter hatch, so I'll just be waiting for that. Oh, and I am going to go buy some frizzles and partridge cochins this Saturday. I'll be OK.

ok i just set my easter hatch,

7 Thai Game
5 Old English Game bantam
10 Bantam Cochin
64 back yard Mix
4 Standard cochin
18 Rosies
1 Rose Comb Rhode island Red
and 5 quail


sooo if i added it right i have 114 eggs

Your eggs will be fine at 96 degrees. Its ok if the temp ranges 95-100 degrees

looks like the membranes are really dry on the ones that have pecked a hole..I don't know why though, humidity is at 70-75%

just keep an eye on them. the white membrane will be dry. the clear one under that is wet. Watch them and see if they can make it out. they should be fine
