anyone have experience ordering from "Vagabond Culture"?

they're an independent flock based in new york. this is their site.

they seem to sell bloomy eggs, too, which is what i want to add to my collection.

I have not, but I looked them over and they seem very legit. They take Google Pay and Credit Cards for payment so those methods are good as well.

With shipping eggs by any quality breeder though, there's always a loss. The further they are from us, the worse it gets. This is not on the seller, provided they packaged the eggs inside the box safely, as everyone I've dealt with did.

in the part about black copper marans' eggs, it says this:

and while you will receive second-line eggs, these hens will lay eggs that darken with each generation due to the breeding we’ve done.

what does "second line" mean? will the eggs be as dark as the ones pictured?

They are doing line breeding, so you're getting their improved version from their original ones. That's my guess though, but what will the eggs look like, you'd have to ask them.
