Anyone have experience with RIR buff orpington crosses?

I've currently got a mixed flock of buff orps and RIR I've got one hen from them mixing was curious to see if anyone breeds these on purpose or has some that are laying what their egg production is like. would like to know if I should separate them or continue to let them mix.

I was hoping so, my hen appears to be the best of both I've had some other production crosses like cinnamon queens I was very disappointed in their appearance and laying abilities. My hen Maple

They would be a lot like New Hampshire Reds with a bit more broody in them.

She’s gorgeous! At what age did she start laying? I have a 16 week RIR X Buff Orp pullet & trying to figure out about when she’ll start to lay
