Hi, I need to cull some year old roosters. I've used craigslist before, but seriously hate some of the shady people showing up at my house. I worry about the security of all my animals. Years ago I took some birds to auction but it didn't even pay for the gas to get there. I've heard things have changed. If they were meaty birds I'd put them in my freezer, but I don't think it is worth the effort even though they are big standards. So I'm back to the auction. How are people getting the best dollar for them? Is it worth boxing them individually? Any thoughts or suggestions?
