Anyone in arkansas looking for a dog???? Or a cat???

Alright, I have been reading Craigslist again. BAD christy!!!!

But this ad really got to me. I just wrote the man asking him if he would let me try to help him find rescue groups, shelters, etc that would take these guys instead of just getting them put down. I am hoping he will let me help in that way, I just CAN'T take them.

It breaks my heart, though.

For those who don't want to click it, the contents are:
I have a few animals who I will have to have put to sleep if I cannot get rid of them before Friday, June 26th. I have a Full blooded Great Dane (male, black, neutered) an Alaskan Malamute (full blooded, black and white, female), and an Alaskan Malamute Mix, and an orange male cat who is neutered. I love these animals dearly but I am in a terrible situation. Please help!! I only have until Friday.

guess the shelters are full?
cause i know you have to pay to put em to sleep...

That sucks. Shelters or put to sleep you have to pay, at least here from what I have seen, it costs more to put an animal to sleep at a vet than it does to surrender it.

why would he have to put em to sleep is what i was wondering...if he can afford to have em put to sleep he can afford to hold on to em a little longer....

Well, my guess is "put down" could very easily mean a bullet in the backyard.

I just want to add that the poster never indicated this is what he has planned......I just know that some people consider that "having them put down" which would be a free option.
