Is it because of our mild weather, white beaches, suntanned good looking football players, and beautiful animals??
Yes I love it here too, but the grass is always greener on the other side, however we are in drought where I am so our gardens are not as lush as we would like. We are heading for stage 4 water restrictions which mean no watering outside the house, ouch!!

But why would i want to? because dh and i have a secret...i will share it with you so you are forewarned...one day we are going to vacation in your fair country and probably not return to our native land. so if a couple of freaks move in near you, it could be us!!! other people have dreams of retirement, ours include sneaking away to another country.

Sorry about your drought, Bantymum. The grass is definitely greener on my side with all the rain we recieved last year and this spring. I have a low spot on my lawn that's turning into a swamp complete with frogs and reeds. I'm not complaining since I have never heard of stage 4 water restrictions!!! I hope mother nature sends you some liquid refreshments soon.

Ill bet the snakes hang around!! they love frogs too!
I miss my frogs, we used to have a frogpond and the bullfrogs sounded beautiful at night, I had names for them as they all sounded different.
They moved on when I got chickens< i hope they got away!

I'm so over the drought we're in... its just getting really ridiculous.... where i am we're still on level 2 restrictions... but go like 30mins west and theyre on level 5... 4min showers

If everyone thinks positive that 2007 is the end of the drought... then it'll happen!
