just curious
when I decided to raise chickens, several people looked at me as though I had four heads, "are they gonna let you have chickens in the city?" (I don't live downtown, more of the suburbish area)
well, yeah! city ordinance says I can keep 15 hens, and can't have noisy roosters within 300 ft of any building occupied by anyone other than the owners. So we have 11 hens. I don't see very many people raising chickens without going into the more rural areas, I think it might be in part because not many realize that it's perfectly legal.
