Anyone in the Bay Area have Silkies?

Hi,

I'm new, and trying to figure out if I would like to have silkie chickens. I think that they are super cute, but I have never met one before. Does anyone around here (SF Bay Area) have silkies, and if so, could I meet them?

I'm a few hours away from the Bay Area, though if you're ever up here you can come see my Silkies.

The closest breeder I know of to ya'll is still pretty far away, but if you want the real Silkie experience, call up Sherri Minkner and ask if you can see her birds, she's based out of Lincoln. Seeing her place will definitely tell you whether or not you like Silkies! The place is amazing, she must have more birds than I do!
