I"m going to start getting my Incubator built starting in Aug.
so I'm going to be looking for eggs. soon.. but I want to steer clear of
buying them online and waiting to have them shipped. and Take a chance at any of them
breaking during shipment.
So my question is.. Is there anyone on the boards who live Relatively close to Carrollton Gerogia
I live in a town close to it. to give you a idea of where I am. so you know if your close
I also do not want to order online due to the fact I do not want to start off with a huge number of eggs.
I want to mabey do no more then 5 or 6 (1 for each child plus a extra just in case). This way Each kid has a egg and possibly a chick to call thir own.
but I'd like to get eggs from someone i can drive to (mabey less then a hour.. hour n a half tops).
as for breed I'm not sure.. Silkie's sound nice. but then again I would probly need a much bigger pen LOL!. under the porch is gonna be nice for my Stray and her chicks we keep. but then again I'd more hten likely only keep 2 chicks if i hatch 6 of my own....
