Sorry about the caps. My sister puts her eggs in the refrigerator until she collects enough to incubate. She has good hatch rates- does anyone else store theirs like that before incubation? Just curious

I have before, the eggs had been in the fridge for 2 days, the only difference I noticed when doing this is that it took two extra days for those eggs to hatch. I had marked them to to see if they would do any good.

I store mine in a mini fridge set at 55 deg with good results.

I'm not sure of the temp on my sisters regular fridge- I guess its what refrigerators are normally set from the factory??

I have some Black Jersey Giant chicks running around right now that are from refridgerated eggs. Outside of one of them having an icicle hangin off his chin they're fine...

I just hatched out 4 Ameraucana eggs I had in the fridge for a week prior to setting. I do not normally set fridge eggs but had room to fill so I did. They hatched fine, right on time no issues. I do not know what my fridge temp is at, I do not have a thermometer in it.
