Fishkeeper
Crowing
I want some dinosaur chickens at some point in the future, but I'd like to know what I'm getting into. From what I'm reading, they're generally fine with humans, but are best kept in pairs due to being potentially very aggressive with each other. Is this a reasonable way to keep them without the hen being over-bred by the rooster?
Also, how much coop and run space are we talking for a pair of Malays? I imagine they need a bigger coop than smaller chickens, and I've read that they need a lot of space to run and act like little velociraptors.
Has anyone tried one of those dog toys that's a rolling ball with a tail attached with them? They seem like they'd love mauling it.
