off-grid hen
Songster
I read on one website that carries it (I can't remember which site now- I was surfing a lot for customer reviews) that it shouldn't be used on pregnant or lactating animals.
I wonder if this means there should be an egg withdrawal period? I also read that the sulphur can be a lung irritant.
I have a hen who is beng picked on by the others. She does not have lice or mites. I have tried blue kote spray (applying that to a leghorn- even in the dark- was a challenge!), and pick no more by rooster booster. The spot is getting larger and all there is a spot where the feathers are broken off at skin level by the base of her tail. I haven't yet tried a saddle, but it's so hot out.
What do you think?
