Anyone know anything about geese?

sorry for the not only off topic post, but also off site post. Could not find a backyardgeese.com, I bought two geese at the fair a few weeks ago to help protect my chickens and drive off predators. So far so good knock on wood! My question is do domestic geese lay eggs once in spring like wild geese or do they lay like chickens?

golly - you need to post this under "geese" - there's tons of folks who can help!

but um.. the geese + chickens thing might NOT work out. for some people it does - but for me it did NOT. my gander is a hen-killer - especially when they are brooding.

my geese only lay in the spring.

repost and im' sure you'll get more info
