Thanks for the reply. My first thought was a splash of some kind as well. I got her from the "assorted layers" bin at Murdochs because I loved her coloring, so it's possible she's a mixed breed. The blue chicken next to her is a Sapphire Gem.Her color appears to be splash (black with two copies of the blue gene diluting to this white w/greyish blue feathers).
Is her egg a true bright white, or is it possible that it's a very light brown? Are you certain she's a purebred chicken, or could she be a mix? What breed is the blue chicken next to her in one of the photos?
My first thought was maybe a splash australorp (the dark eyes and black/dark grey legs line up with that). Their eggs are light brown, though.
For a white egg layer I thought maybe a blue/splash plymouth rock; they should have yellow legs but it's possible whatever they used to breed in the blue colorcaused the black legs.![]()
I agree that she is splash. Her color appears to be splash (black with two copies of the blue gene diluting to this white w/greyish blue feathers).

Thank you so much. After looking at the pics, I think you're right. Her name is LaRue.I agree that she is splash.
I think she is probably a Splash Andalusian.
Hatcheries usually list them as "Blue Andalusian," but they actually produce chicks in black, blue, and splash. The egg color, leg color, body type, and temperament sound right. Earlobe is supposed to be "white," but any breed with white earlobes will sometimes show other colors (light the light blue in her case.)
Examples of hatcheries that sell this breed and show photos on their websites:

Apparently some of their labeling is not as accurate as one might likeI also picked up a Lakenvelder that was listed as an Ancona at Murdochs as well lol.
