I use 1/2-3/4 tsp per gallon. I don't use it every refill of the water jug either, about one in three. I am not a big fan of using it when its really hot and the water is warm. Think warm stale gatoraid, thats why I use less it doesn't funk up as fast. Right now my brooder chics are going through a gallon of water about every three days, I change it every other whether it needs it or not. Mix up a full strength batch and let it sit for two days, then smell it. Then tell me you would want to drink it.

Most are 1 teaspoon per gallon. If you have a weak/sick bird that needs more you can go to 2, but for chicks and or just a boost it is 1 t per G.
