Anyone Know How To Make A Homemade Incubator?

Did you have a calibrated thermometer and humidity gauge in it?

It had those built in but they did not work well, so if we ever hatch more eggs I am going to buy a separate thermometer for it (This was our first time hatching eggs.).

Be sure to calibrate and salt test your instruments before you set.

my dad made one out of tinfoil and a heat lamp, it actually worked he just had to turn the eggs by hand

get a Styrofoam cooler, a heat lamp, a humidity gauge, and something to tell the temperature and there you go! an incubator. the only downside is that you will have to hand turn them every 2-4 hours. some people only turn them when they get up from bed, when they leave to work, when they get home, and when they go to bed. It worked for them.
