Sure---if you want a egg turner so messed up from the hatch that it will take a while to clean it---not me---LOL

Ya it will get dirty and there's places I feel like the chicks could get stuck or hurt just my opinion though

I agree. Besides the fact it's one more thing that gets nasty goo, the goo on the plastic makes it slippery and the holes increases occurrences of leg injuries such as spraddle leg not to mention legs can get stuck in places they don't belong.
