Anyone know if this red area on a chick is normal?

It almost looks like this chick has jowls, but they are red. This is one of 9 chicks I have. I bought 8 and 1 was a lone survivor of an incubator hatch. The chicks are 4 weeks old. Does the chick look okay? They’re all active chicks. I don’t know what type of chicken it is either, so if anyone wants to guess, go ahead.

As an aside, I am starting them on 1tsp of corid today for the next 3 days, and 1/3rd tsp. for a week after because I’ve noticed some blood (2 instances which I couldn’t distinguish between shed or blood) This is a precaution as I lost a chick to coccidiosis 2 years ago, and I also have rabbits in the same shed (separate crates).

Thanks everyone!

This does not shock me. Definitely the one I hatched then! Dad is a RIR and I’m thinking his mom might be our light Brahma.

Thank you!
