Hello all you chicken lovers. I was wondering if anyone of you would know a really good and reliable website that sells chicken coops. i have 8 chickens for the time being that will need to be moved to a bigger coop soon. i will end up getting more about 12 in total, so i wanted to see if you guys had a reliable website you knew that is good to buy chicken coops. :)

Perhaps you could get an 8X10 garden shed locally and convert it. 20 chickens take up a lot of room!

x2. Realistically it's difficult to find a prefab coop that's actually large enough for 12. Do not believe the manufacturer claims that "Coop is good for 12!" - look at the actual measurements for the enclosed coop are minus nest boxes. For 12 you want a minimum of 48 sq ft floor space, more is better.

EDIT: Argh late night typos! Enclosed coop AREA

I would check out craig's list in your area. There are usually farmers or people who like to work with wood who are out there willing to build a coop, or you can find a used one. Or a used shed you can convert.

Maybe, but still follow RMT's advice here:
