Our rooster was, we believe, an Easter egger mix (he was sold to us as black australorp but was definitely not just australorp). Asked on here last year and was told EE mix. His sister lays green eggs.
We have a variety of hens (white leghorn, amberlink, golden comet, buff Brahma, dark Brahma, Easter egger, wel summer, rhode island red, black jersey giant, Dominique, Oliver egger (rooster sister), gold laced Wydonette, lavender Orpington, Delaware (I think that’s it).
We decided to hatch some babies and man did they come out so cute, we obviously know that we won’t know which is what, but just curious if anyone has any ideas. 6 successfully hatched yesterday. I definitely think the rooster was an EE mix because 3 chicks came out with the EE stripes
Picture of babies and flock and rooster below.
Chick 1 hatched from darker brown egg
Chick 2 hatched from white egg
Chick 3 hatched from light brown egg
Chick 4 hatched from a white egg
Chick 5 hatched from light brown egg
Chick 6 hatched from darker brown egg
