Anyone know what breed or gender these two chicks are?

Hello All! I am very new to the world of raising chickens. We have started a tiny flock of four chickens this week. We purchased them at Tractor Supply and we asked for one of each: Black Asian, Barred Rock, California White, and ISA Brown. They all should be females according to the sales associate. I am hoping someone might be able to verify if we really did get a Black Asian and the Barred Rock. And, if there is any way to confirm that they are females. The Black Asian looks very large compared to the rest and has me a little concerned that it could be a cockrel. We think the black one with a light chest is the Black Asian, and the black one with a white spot is the Barred Rock.

Any advice would be so helpful. I’ve been reading and researching and really soaking up all I can learn about this new adventure. We don’t have others around us who share this interest of raising chickens, so I need all the help I can get Thanks!!!

I'd say the chicks you got are about right, we can confirm breed and sex when they're older, hatcheries have around a 80%-90% or so rate for pullets but cockerels slip in sometimes!

I think you're right about which is which. A lot of black breeds look like that, but assuming you got what you were supposed to... Unless you know how to vent sex, or the breeds you got are color sexed, you can't really tell the gender at that age. The chicks are adorable.
