I bought some "mutt" eggs from a woman on craigslist.org and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what breeds they'd guess my chickies are. I know one of the two possible dads is something weird sounding (Mille D'Fleur? Maybe?). The other possible father is the first roo's son (he was hatched out of a green egg). All chicks but one came out of green (olive?) eggs, one of which had specks all over it. The non-green egg was a rosy looking brown. The woman had no clue which eggs came from what hen (who does?), so, I'm clueless as to the moms.
Anyway, here are a few pix of my five little chickies:
*I should add that two of the darker chicks have a red-ish hew that may not show up too well on the computer screen. Another of the dark chicks has a gray tail and gray wings (top pic; the little one closest to the camera).
