Anyone know what this is?

This little guy showed up at my house. It has all the characteristics of a quail but it doesn’t look like any quail that I’ve ever raised.

I raise coturnix. The bird pictured has a beak unlike those in my flock. It seems 'fatter' both side to side and top to bottom... not as slender. This bird does have what I call 'rosetta' type markings similar to some of my quail. My quail have light feet, not dark as the bird pictured. So... I did a google search and the nearest I came to a bird that seems similar to me is called a "black breasted wood quail", scientific name Odontophorus leucolaemus. I can envision that a female of this species would look much like the bird in your photograph, what do you think?
