I need some sort of bracket for the small chicken pen I plan to build but I don't know what to look for cuz I don't know what they are called. You know when you're trying to conjoin pieces of wood together but you don't want to use long nails/screws or unable to use them? I'm looking for something like a 'T' shaped bracket where I can then join them together into a sturdy structure........ know where I'm trying to get at? Pictures and/or links would be great. Thanks in advance.

I know what you mean, but I'm also unsure of the name. Try ''t brackets'' or "connector plates" maybe? I know I've seen the L shaped ones labeedl L brackets, and straight ones labeled as connector plates.

Seriously? They are called T brackets or braces, or T pirates, or just brackets or braces depending on the shape.

Yeah, but I need something kinda similar to that but the plate is bent instead of flat....... or not necessarily bent but more of a, how should I say it, T-shaped but with one surface facing the other way where it's at a different angle.... if that makes sense.

Any pictures of the type of connection you are trying to make? That would help in figuring out what type of brace you might need.

Are you talking about corners? Do you have a picture?
