Anyone know why this squab’s feathers have a bleached tip?

I’m wondering if he’ll grow up like this. Might end up with a cool pattern. I think it might just grow out though. Anyone ever see that brownish tip on any of their birds’ feathers? For genetics, mom is a dilute brown check, dad is a blue check.

No those are just it’s down feathers. They will go away in a little while. It would be cool if pigeons looked like that though
