Hey Pennsylvanians! I grew up in central PA (Union County). I still go back to visit a couple times a year.

Hey Paul, We are having a "chickenstock" in July. If you dont' find any before then, maybe someone will show up to sell some at the event.

Hi Paul,
We're in Palmyra also, but we only have heavy breed chickens (and a broody with turkey eggs that just may hatch if she will just stay on the nest a little longer

There are several members on here in PA that have gamebirds. This might help https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=66038
You
might also try the different sections under Other Backyard Poultry on the index page.

ok. maybe ill attend the chickenstock then if i get time. thanks for the info ill check around.

Smokin - If you are still looking for birds there is an auction every Tuesday evening at Roots Market in Manheim, they sell all kinds of poultry day old chicks to adults, quail, peafowl, turkeys, geese, gamebirds etc. the selection varies every week. Starts at 4:30. http://www.rootsmarket.com/location.asp

There
is also an auction every Friday evening at Green Dragon Market in Ephrata, less birds but you never know what might show up. Starts at 6:30 pm. http://www.greendragonmarket.com/directions.html

Buying
at auctions is always a bit of a gamble just check things out before you bid and quarantine them when you get home for a while.
