Anyone Need Help Sexing Chicks!

Ok, it's super easy and super simple. A 3-4 day old chick that is a female will have 2 layers of primary feathers and a male will have one layer. Also, a female's wing feathers develop faster than a male's. I found a really good video on youtube that had directions. It makes choosing chicks a lot easier.

Feather sexing only works for birds that are bred for that particular trait. It does not work for all breeds or mixes.

Right!
It also only works at hatch, a chick at 3-4 days old, even if a feather sexable cross, will not be sexable any longer. This cross is used for commercial leghorns, where 2 separate lines, one fast and one slow feathering, are used to make sexlink leghorns that look exactly like non-sexlinked ones after a few days.
 
Anyone know anything about doing it with the vent? I here that works well with all breeds
