Anyone noticed any difference in chickens when you include apple cider vinegar into the water?

Has anyone noticed a difference too?

Just last week I learned the many health benefits of apple cider vinegar, and wanted to see if my flock would respond in any way. So first of course, I researched if it was ok to do so - They weren't allergic or anything- and all the articles I read say that nothing negative was reported, so I tried it. I thought that it won't hurt, and the solid positive was that the vinegar would keep the water cleaner.
When I put the water out with no ACV, they drank, but only a few sips and left. But when I put a tablespoon of ACV into the mix, all the girls sat there for a good five minutes just drinking and drinking.
Now when I come out with the bowl of the "special water" seperate from their usual drinking bucket, they come running excitedly and drink for a lot longer than they do plain water.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this or know why this is?
On a side note, egg production has increased by a few more eggs a day, I wonder if this has something to do with it?

Mine do like the taste , now I use regular vinegar to clean the waterers and feed dishes, when I ferment in the winter months I add it to that .

The biggest difference I notice is that the waterer doesn’t get moldy from week to week.

But really do you notice the difference your multi vitamin makes? Sometimes our choices make differences we can’t see.

I am thinking that maybe the vinegar helps the hens absorb calcium, which may facilitate egg-laying since it is a calcium dependent process. Many have done that experiment where you dissolve away the egg shell of an egg with a vinegar solution... As an experiment, you could feed egg shells or oyster cal concurrently with the apple cider vinegar special water...

Then state what you mean, all vinegars are not the same , and what round up has to do with this conversation I have no idea.

Apple cider vinegar can have positive health benefits, that’s the answer to the original question .
