I checked into a Mantis and thought it was a little pricey. I've seen them on Craigslist and others with more power for about the same cost. In the long run, we decided to just "rent" our neighbors tiller in exchange for a six pack of good beer and the cost of gas. Plus we now trade produce over the fence.
