Anyone purchased from Wholesale Chicken Coops???

Yup, definitely the same Chinese made cheap coops that are sold all over the internet and at local feed stores. I feel really bad for people who want to start raising chickens and are lulled in to buying these coops because its easier than making their own or spending more for a coop from a legit company.

I agree. However, it's not always a matter of it being easier (per se) or not wanting to spend more money. I am in my 60's, live in the city, and do not know the first thing about keeping chickens. My husband is a legitimate businessman, who works very long hours and doesn't really have the time to build one for me. However, after this experience, he has agreed to take a few weekends off to do it. It will be a much better built coop as he does quality work, and will probably cost considerably less as a result. It's just sad that people feel they have to misrepresent their product, and then not feel any responsibility for solving problems when customers are dissatisfied. Had I know prior to purchase that this came from China, I would never have placed the order in the first place. Never. But of course, they don't want the public to know that. Instead, they have posted misleading statements like "sturdy chicken coops," "Quality tongue & groove construction," "highest Quality * Best Value."

How is one to know what is a "legit" company except through experience and/or word of mouth? That is the reason I am posting here about this. I don't wish this company harm, but at the same time, as long as they are not willing to take responsibility for their products, then I absolutely think others should be warned about what they may be getting into with these folks so that at least they go into it with both eyes open.
