Anyone setting eggs starting July 15 -July 22?

Well this was day 7 for me, hope it's not too late to join in...I'm hatching about 30 mutt babies (exact count to come soon with pics). I'm hatching in a styrofoam incubator borrowed from my neighbor with fan. the turner didn't work ( the rack kept getting stuck). we've been turning the eggs on the rack by hand. we did have one accident with one egg and the faulty rack. my wife didn't notice she cracked an egg and later found out because of the smell. I was hoping to candle at day 7 but did it two days early and took advantage of the time to also clean the mess from that accident. everything looked good except for the cracked egg and one egg with blood ring. Just candled one egg for my kids to see when I went down to turn the rack. It looked like the little chick was bouncing around all over the place!!!

the babies will be a mix of my australorp rooster, with my all white polish, rhode island reds, easter eggers, barred rocks, and australorp hens!!

BTW, my pics are coming up, where are your pics??!!

I'm incubating/hatching in my cool humid basement with dehumidifier going strong... the humidity level doesn't drop below 50% and i'm not adding any water to the incubator...ask for any other specific details. HAPPY HATCHING TO ALL!!!!

Good news and bad news all of my eggs are developing great exept one died or so I thought so I cracked it open and there was a healthy developing chick. Man I guess it's the learning curve at least I still have 16 eggs.

today is day 7 and my eggs don;t look good. I wonder how hot they got on shipping. It has been taking me 7 days to get my eggs lately. Seems like I am ending up with much more non starters. I will candle tonight and toss a lot I am sure. So sad because these are my pure Lavender and BBS Ameraucana eggs.

Wish you luck; it sucks starting over. I had to earlier; I had 14 shipped D'Anver eggs that went completely rotten. I restarted with local eggs and now the only thing I worry about is Summer sticking it out for an extra week and a half.

Did help me to see that I need new batteries for my flashlight!
I candled last night but didn't see much. May have one clear but I'll look again in a couple days.

I am not ordering any more eggs until the weather is cooler. I just tossed 27 eggs on day 7 candling. Mostly non starters. 5 bloodrings. The remaining viable eggs have very clear veining and a black eye/dot that is wiggling like crazy. So sad... now I really really hope I get these to hatch.. I have 1 Lav left of 15 eggs. booo hooo... only 4 BBS left out of 18.... what a big fail. It has to be the heat on shipping. When I ordered eggs in april... i didnt have this many not start.

what an expensive hobby I have picked up.

Well, today I got some eggs from SONEW123... They are a mix with Tolbunt/Maran..so a super dark egg. I guess I will have to just sniff it every 7 days...lol

Sorry that happened. The heat has been horrible to eggs this summer. Hope the ones you have left all make it.
