Send this pics to your shipper. Tell them you desearve a new box, as their packaging was terrable. They knew they were eggs. Only very poor shippers dont pack eggs very well, with so much stuff so tight between them that nobody could possible shift, and with lots of stryofoam on the outside edges. This is complete crap, and you should not have to bite it. Go now, and tell them you will give them negative feedback, if they don't make this right. There is no excuse for this.i got 3 boxes today. One was all smelly. The box itself was not busted... I Was a little disappointed when I opened it To find some stuffing and a handful of shredded paper. The eggs were wrapped. but left to bounce Around In The filler. The filler was not packed tight. Tell me if you have had eggs make it With This set up... This Is my first out of ALL the Eggs I have received to look like this.
only 5 eggs out of were not broken...
only a handful
this Was on top and had yolk stuck...AND ANTS...
I paid twentyfour dollars for the shipping .. it was in The medium Shipping box...not The large...
Ok baby will br in with other eggs due in2 days and 3. When is best to get her out.?Right now without a friend i thunk she would get coldbut the longer i wait the closer to hatch day for the other eggs.Tomorrow will be day 20 for another group.I am assuming they shrink wrap easier if they are pipped than not so Lay some knowledge on me?When should she come out?
I HAVE A CHICK! I will try and post pics in a few but it is soooo hard to see her on the screen! She matches the sawdust perfectly.. Must be from the leghorn mamma.![]()
well, the little chick died this morning and the last remaining egg has zipped but is just hanging out in his shell. looks very big.... so possibly 2 of 12 hatches...I do have higher hopes for the 40 eggs in the bator now , some will go on lockdown the 15th... They are ameraucanas and they are really moving in the egg when I candled them the other day... Everyone keep posting and I will keep trying....
