this chick still hasnt made any progress! i read that if the mambrane is white like this then it is shrink wrapped! is that what I'm seeing? i can hear it constantley pecking at the shell but it just isnt getting anywhere!
I will never tell someone to intervene, but you might have to. If you do, and this is for anyone that may feel the need to, take it very slow, chip a little shell away at a time, and the moment you see any blood, stop immediately, and put it back in the bator. This means the membrane still has veins and the chick is not ready to hatch.
I believe the membrane that actually shrink wraps is bellow the white one you can see.
