Cattitude where are you in west Tennessee/Ky. I'm in White House/Cross Plains area. Sure would like to get together with you sometime on some of the Ameraucanas or eggs if possible. Oh I just realized I miscounted my babies 6, lol.

Happy for everyones babies and pips. As for me.....Still nothing. It is taking everything inside me not to open the incubator to candle or listen for life. I added more water about 10 mins ago with a straw. It was room temp but it just drops the temps so much. Down to 93 degrees.

We have pips at last! Six pips and a lot of cheeping. There may be other pips on the undersides, can't tell. Boy, this sure takes a long time.

I will never tell someone to intervene, but you might have to. If you do, and this is for anyone that may feel the need to, take it very slow, chip a little shell away at a time, and the moment you see any blood, stop immediately, and put it back in the bator. This means the membrane still has veins and the chick is not ready to hatch.
I believe the membrane that actually shrink wraps is bellow the white one you can see.

Ok, so so far with my silkie faverolle crosses, they look like they are a definite mix of the two though they are still wet so some of this is guesstimation lol. They both have 10 toes (5 toes each foot), feathered legs, kind of have a silkie shaped body, beards, look to have the favs coloring, but one has darker skin while the other doesn't lol more updates as they dry and fluff up

I found this very helpful and it looks just like your egg.
