Anyone Setting Eggs Tonight 3/31/2011 - Come join me if you like!

I still have nothing. No action at all. Going to toss the eggs when my new eggs arrive either tomorrow or monday. I am not going to crack these open like all the rest. Its already too depressing.

Its not over just yet!!!!!!!!

I was so very bad and I candled my eggs. I had to take the lid off to add water. 3 eggs had movement inside. No doubt at all. So I put them all back in and added a ton of water hoping the added humidity might help. Its been around 50-60 the whole lockdown so maybe they just needed a little more. I hope removing them didnt cause any real harm. I doubt it did.

I could still have some late chicks!!!!!!

Well, I was BAD and open the bator to remove the 2 chickes that had hatched, the "chicken soccer" was becoming a little too much and I was worried about the other eggs...the temp never dropeed and the humidity on dropped a little and was back up in no time at all.......I know I shouldn't have done it, but I did....crossing fingers I didnt screw anything up....GOnna post a pic of my new friends

Have patience with the beak-out baby! I had one yesterday that I had given up for dead. Its beak had been out for hours, but no further progress and it seemed to have given up. I guess it was just resting, though, because when I was up at 2:30 a.m. with a fussy child I discovered that chick had hatched. Don't give up hope yet.

Ok Iceh...I won't give up, it is actively in there peeping but doesn't seem to be making any progress on the shell...I did not use egg cartons and the chicken soccer got to be too much so I opened the bator and took the two chicks out....the humidity didn't drop enough to shrink wrap, but ya never know..How old is your fussy child, LOL

Once this one hatches, can I open the bator to candle the other eggs?
