Anyone tried a mic to check incubated egg viability?

Wonder if anyone had tried gluing a mic to the inside bottom of a small plastic cup then placing an 18 day incubated egg atop and recording to play back?

It would be fun to try. Give it a shot. I do like holding eggs up to my ear to check their status prepipping. You can hear scratching, tapping, and cheeping. It's very sweet.
