Anyone tried building their own coop similiar to Carolina Coops

I won one of their coops in a giveaway last year, (which inspired me to get chickens, it was a completely random thing I thought "hey this might be cool to enter in") and we want another one, it's not really too hard to copy. The best part is, is that you get to choose the measurements, etc. But if you end up just buying from their website, it is 100% worth it.

Some observations about this coop that I've picked up from trying to figure it out:
The nest box is exactly as wide as one of the roofing panels. I was wondering why it didn't go the whole width of the coop and this must be why.
The roofing panels come 8ft long, so consider that if you want this style of roof - you'll want to be able to cut them in half and use it all. So size your coop accordingly.
The Carolina Coop is just the American coop with an extra layer of finish on the outside. The bones are the same.

Thank you. I've watched his videos over and over and actually made my own plans based on his videos. Of course I made them right before he came out with the plans to buy haha. In the process of building now.

I realize I am a little late to the party, but we just finished building our "Carolina Coop" knock-off. Someone had some "free" (if you subscribed to a monthly journal he was involved with, cost $5 a month and I forgot to unsubscribe so I paid $10!) plans that I printed out to get my husband started. The plans were not really the same as an authentic Carolina Coop so he did a lot of looking at pictures on the Carolina Coops website and a lot of arithmetic and sketching. In this picture it is nearly done, just a little trim and the cupula left to do.

We based ours off of a Carolina Coop. No plans, but here’s some pics that might help.

We used cement board for the coop part.
