Anyone try using a heating pad under their incubator throughout hatch?

Came up on my youtube feed and curious if this is worth considering as I hear about cold spots in the incubator that results in a reduced hatch. Would love to hear your thoughts.t Thanks.

I don't think that's a good idea, a good incubator won't have bad cool spots and if it does, you can rotate the egg around the incubator.

I agree with @nuthatched that it wouldn’t be a good idea.
