Well actually I'm 2 days early for my day 14 weigh in but after weighing them they are right on to last time's weigh in...so now 3 of them have lost 11g & 2 9g, so the pattern is the same.
Day 1
A-671.8
B-653.2
C-671.1
D-681.3
E-672.8
Day 7
A-657.5
B-639.1
C-660.0
D-666.8
E-660.9
Day 12
A-646.4
B-628.2
C-651.5
D-655.8
E-651.3
well... I did the math... and this is what you would be looking at for 15% weight loss
Day 1
A-671.8 .. 100.77 g loss over 50 days at 97.5 degrees.. which is 2.0154 g per day or 14.1078g per week
at day 7 you have 657.5 (657.6922 projected) and on day 12 you have 646.4 24.1848 (647.6154 projected)
B-653.2 ... 97.98 g loss over 50 days .. which is 1.9596 g per day or 13.7172 g per week
at day 7 you have 639.1 (639.4828 projected) and on day 12 you have 628.2 (629.6848 projected)
C-671.1 ... 100.665 g loss over 50 days ... which is 2.0133 g per day or 14.0931 g per week
at day 7 you have 660.0 (657.0069 projected) and on day 12 you have 651.5 (646.9404 projected)
10% loss would be in the "danger zone" of too little loss... which would be 67.11 g lost over 50 days...
1.3422 g lost per day or 9.3954 g lost per week.. day 7 would be 661.7046 and day 12 would be 654.9936
you're still "ok" on this egg.. but it's one to keep an eye on.. maybe move it a little closer to the fan for a few days and see how it does?
D-681.3 ... 102.195 g loss over 50 days .. which is 2.0439 g per day or 14.3073 g per week
at day 7 you have 666.8 (666.9927 projected) and on day 12 you have 655.8 (656.7732)
E-672.8 ... 100.92 g loss over 50 days .. which is 2.0184 g per day 14.1288 g per week
at day 7 you have 660.9 (658.6712 projected) and on day 12 you have 651.3 (648.5792)
10% loss would be in the "danger zone" of too little loss... which would be 67.28 g lost over 50 days ..
1.3456 g lost per day or 9.4192 g lost per week.. day 7 would look like 663.3808 and day 12 would look like 656.65.28
for eggs C & E.. are they in the same place as far as relationship to the fan (same side of the bator?)
I noticed in my reptipro that eggs sitting directly in front of the fan started losing weight too rapidly so I had to move them around every day... not sure how you have your eggs placed.. but with those eggs showing a little off from the weight loss that you should be expecting it makes me wonder where they are in relationship to the fan in your incubator.
lol.. hopefully my math is correct (yeah it's still early here)
