Anyone up for a Hatchalong?

Pics
Don't expect your eggs to jump at you :) At first the movement is very suddle and I thought that my eyes where making tricks on me. When you whistle and stare you think you see them move, but they are moving but very little. Some of my eggs started to move at 35 days some at 33 so they might indeed move but you have to pay very close attention.

Thanks, hope is here so lets see!!! im close to hatch date so in 9 days I will figure it out!!!

I just had the Eggs out for a morning chat and Egg B talked back! I picked it up and held it up to my ear and it sounds like someone crinkling up some plastic wrap or paper inside, it's also letting out a peep when I whistle to it.

Raptor65 how mady days those eggs has??? the egg B, I will try to have a morning chat now!!

Both on day 46. I usually take them out at 6 am when I wake up, then again at noon if they aren't awake at 6 am, this seems to be the time when they're most active, I don't get much out of them in the evening.

Oh my I'm so excited, I'm like 99% sure eggs B, C & E just wiggled! They're on day 31...I'm pretty sure egg D is bad, the smell in the bator is back & with those 3 wiggling its either A or D that's bad & egg D has more of a smell to it I think. Well I haven't posted my last 2 weigh ins where I've been busy but I have been reading the thread everyday, congrats to everyone that are having chicks hatch! I'm so glad for you all, puzzler how many have you had hatch so far & yinepu you have 3 already, right? Oh this is so exciting :D

In a little while I'll do the math & get my day 28 statistics...everything look on track? My problem egg C, the one who has lost the least weight, by like A LOT, I thought wiggled earlier but now I'm starting to think it was actually egg A that wiggled & i had them backwards...

OMG lets see what happens, thanks so much!!I try and try but no luck yet...

One of my friends was hatching emus, some eggs hatched and other eggs did not hatch on the due day, stopped wiggling and do not respond to tapping. I assume they are gone :(
Any suggestions on the assist hatch if they do not hatch out by them self?

Check this out

I would start by drilling a small hole in the air cell.. try not to penetrate the membrane.. use a flashlight and see if you can see anything.. also have a wet cotton swab handy to moisten the membrane in case you can't see through it

if the chick is alive check and see if there are any plump blood vessels.. if so just moisten them and put a bandaid (or something similar that allows air flow) over the hole (moisten the bandage part of it first) and leave the chick to hatch on it's own

if the chick is alive and you do not see any plump blood vessels carefully chip away part of the shell and see if the chick looks ready to hatch

if the chicks are well past the due date and haven't moved or peeped any then it sounds to me as if they died from either lack of oxygen or from bacteria
