I was hoping someone else would chime in on this. It still looks like long pointy saddle feathers to me but you are right there are not wattles and I think the fact that you have cut the crest makes it too difficult to tell from the crest. I am going to go look at my Polish again and see what the hens look like in the rear and if any of the roos don't have wattles (but I believe they all do).

Polish roos have a kind of uneven spiky crest. Hens are a lot more rounded.

thank you Becky, this means Manny would be a girl her crest is exactly like your hens except much larger poor girl. I see what you are talking about on the saddle feathers though. Thank you for taking the time to post this pic it has helped greately

All my questions have been answered except one... lol don't worry about the black game hen or the small game hen they are back with the origional owners... will someone take a stab at my EE. I have looked at the diagram that was posted showing the diff. between males and females. Eddie looks like has saddle feathers... anyone want to try... 23 weeks old now.. and still no eggs from any of the girls
