I purchased a large watering tank to use for my ducks and was wondering if anyone uses a swimming pool filter on their ducks ponds? Would it work?

I will be watching this post as we are building a water turtle garden(for 1 turtle) and a seperate outdoor aviary for our mandarin pair and I have considered using these for the filtration of both.

We have 2 I am debating on, one is the wallyworld that comes with the pool, the other is a 2 1/2 hp with a 3 foot filter. Thinking that one might blow the ducks or turtles out of the water, lol

you should be okay but boy that would be a sight! i use a sump pump and homemade filters that work good. the sump pump is like 4 horse and my hubby uses the same 1s on construction jobs to get rainwater out of deep ditches.
my pond is 275gal
hope that helps

You could use them, you just have to remember when you build the pond that a lot of pool filters have to be below the water level. You might have to dig a ditch to put the pump and filter in.
