Anyone use chimney cap screening?

Hi everyone, we have been using hardware cloth but are considering using chimney cap screening for our windows in the coop. Anyone have experience with it? Feeling it today, it was intensely sharp even to the touch, also thick. Below is a link to a product similar to what we are getting. Its pricey but we do not need much since it's just for the windows. Just curious if anyone has used it.

I’ve never heard of anyone using it, but it sounds like a good idea. I would imagine it would be more durable than hardware cloth, since it is a lot thinker and everything.

Its pricey

Because it's stainless steel.

Basically it's plaster/stucco lath.
It's very sharp so don't put it where chickens can touch it.
