Anyone use craigslist before???

I just put a wanted add on there for a cochin hen and I got flagged for removal any idea why???

Because there are a bunch of buttheads on CL with nothing better to do than to flag people's ads.

What did you ad say? Do you recall?

flagging happens all of the time.

I've found some wonderful chicken deals on CL.

Happens. Usually you get flagged by a competing ad or by someone who wrote your info down and had it flagged so they could be first to respond.

Just be careful, there are some real creeps on Craigslist. Some just flag posts for no reason, others will lie and cheat unwary people into false securities.

Lots of scammers live off of craigslist, just be careful.

Oh I never have placed an add but I am really having a hard time finding a cochin hen for my son's 4H project he is driving me nuts every 15 min did you find one

Activists sometimes troll craigslist. They intentionally mess up animal related threads. Losers.

Just post it again and make sure you are in the farm section.

GRRR I have been flagged 4 times I put it in farm and everything it keeps getting removed!!!

There is a way to report flagging abuse. What city are you in?

"I have discovered something quite disturbing about Craig's List. Apparently, Pet Boards....are being unfairly targeted by a flagging loop.
That means a group of 3 or more people (or 1 person with 3 CL accounts) takes it upon themselves to police Craig's List and flag posts they feel need to be removed based solely on their OPINION.

At present time, it takes only 3 flags/ flaggers to remove a post.
There's even a Yahoo "group" formed whose members sole purpose is to FLAG Craig's List Pets Boards posts for FUN!

Several Rescue Groups that I work with continually have their posts flagged for no good reason. I ask that if you are experiencing the same problem in your area, to copy the message below and post it on Craig's List under "Community Pets" on a regular basis. It will get flagged and removed, but there will be some people that will see it and e-mail Craig's List. I also ask that you also report this abuse to Craig's List. Please Help! Pets Lives are depending upon it."
