So I just got a new book about chickens, and this one suggests using herbs in the coop. They are apparently good for keeping the coop smelling nice, repelling pests, and keeping the chickens in good health.
Does anyone use herbs, and if so how?
One thing that concerns me that I haven't read about: if they eat the herbs, will it make the eggs taste funny? If anyone has opinions about good herbs to use or how to use them, that would be helpful
There also isn't much said about using dried herbs for any of the same reasons and if they would work the same. I currently have some in my pantry that I could use.
