Anyone use landscaping to conceal/hide run?

A neighbor of mine has grape vines in front of and along the run. It's very concealing in the summer and looks great, however, in the winter it doesn't hide anything. Then again, I don't think they are trying to hide anything, either. Are you trying to conceal the run to hide it from your neighbors or just for your own asthetic purposes?

I think you could use shurbs and vines to block part of it, also providing shade for the birds. Just know the birds will eat whatever they can reach through the fence

Both. I'm not trying to hide it per say, just trying to make it more attractive.

Well, I can't see why it wouldn't work if you got some fast growing evergreen shrubs and vines. You'll most likely have to be sure they aren't toxic and/or plant them far enough in front of the run.

Good question, I'd like to know too! I thought I read about a post on that here on BYC somewhere, I but I haven't found it yet.

make sure if you use shrubs you go with something evergreen and not deciduous, or the leaves will fall off and it will be bare all winter....

You could do a green roof so it is not visably a chicken coop from the top. I am building a green roof now, but just because i think it's cool.
